SHEFA PROVINCE

The province of SHEFA consists of the islands of Efate and its offshore islands, the Shepherd islands and Epi island. There is currently no Provincial Youth & Sports Officer based, there is a Provincial Youth Council for SANMA that is governed under the Vanuatu National Youth Council.

The current SHEFA Provincial Youth President is Obed Kalnangis from the island of Efate. SHEFA also accommodates the municipality of Port Vila which has its own Youth Council led by John Botleng who is originally from the island of Ambrym but now resides in Port Vila. 

Some of the major youth and sports events that are happening this year 2018 for SHEFA province are the Inter-Secondary School Games, preparation for the National Games, and participation at the International Youth Week to be held in Port Vila in August 2018.
